Netpro Renewable Energy (India)
Ltd., is a leading supplier of biomass gasification systems for
both electrical power generation and thermal applications. NETPRO,
established in the year 1994, specialises in supply of biomass
gasification plants under an ongoing technical collaboration
agreement with Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, for its open
top downdraft gasification technology. MNES provides subsidy for
setting up biomass power plants and Netpro is one of the approved
suppliers of biomass gasification system.
Feedstock (Biomass): Any solid biomass
with a bulk density of not less than 250 kg/m3, moisture
content less than 12-15% cut to a size of 25 mm x 25 mm x 60
mm.
Example of biomass suitable for
gasification: Casaurina, Eucalyptus, Phadauk, Silver Oak,
Pine, Mulberry Stalk, Ipomea, Lantana, Juli Flora, Jungle
wood, Corn cobs, Coconut shell, Cotton stalk. Coconut Fronds,
etc.
We have supplied many biomass gasification
systems for electrical application in dual fuel and pure gas
mode. Biomass gasification systems with 100% gas engines are
in operation at many places and economics of operation with
100% gas engine is very attractive. If biomass price is
maintained below Rs.1.50/kg, generation of electricity is
possible at rates below Rs.3.00/kWh. We are using Cummins gas
engine for 100% producer gas mode.
M/s Cummins is offering Producer gas gensets
with warranty and guarantee. At present they are offering 25,
75, 120 & 240 kW producer gas engine gensets. Based on engine
availability, we have developed system for following

We provide solutions for Combined Heat and
Power schemes through overall system engineering and technical
assistance for procurement of various sub-systems for Waste
Heat Recovery. Waste heat utlisation will give additional
benefits and will improve the overall economics of the plant.
We can also supply biomass gasification systems
for thermal application. The financial benefits for industries using diesel /
furnace oil for thermal application in furnaces, ovens, kilns
etc, is even more attractive, as the calorific value of
1 litre of diesel is equivalent to about 3.50 kg of biomass.
This means instead of spending Rs.35 on diesel, one has to
spend only about Rs.5.25 on biomass for the same thermal
energy. The ratings of the gasification unit ranges from 1
kWth to 1000 kWth depending on customer requirement.
Biomass power plants are eco-friendly and do
not contribute to any net addition of CO2 to the atmosphere.
Hence these power plants are eligible for carbon credit under
CDM scheme. Netpro can help the client in getting CO2 fund.
We have exported a 350kW gasification system to
Switzerland for electrical application. Power generated from
the biomass power plant will be supplied to the grid and it is
fully automated system. |
